3d orbit of particular from camera tracking data?

#1

I have a shot coming up that is a 180 degree orbit on a dolly of a time freeze. I need to put in a blood spray coming from the actors head. I am attempting to use the foundry camertracker plug in to track the shot and then use particular to create the various mist and chunks that are spewing out.

I am having trouble figuring out how to use the tracking data from Cameratracker to lock down the particles to the actors head.

Would anybody care to help me?
Thanks in advance.

Once you have the cam, it is aligned with AE’s native 3D space. Nothing more required. Of course the data is arbitrary as it is just one possible geometric solution that happens to align with the original shot, but must not necessarily meet the exact measurements, so you may need to experiment with scale and offsets. The rest is just a matter of you preparing it correctly by placing track marks. I really don’t see the problem here. If the shot is more complex than that, then you need to use tools like SynthEyes that also do geometry tracking/ inverse matchmoving.
