3D Modeling/Animating Help Needed

Hello all

I am the leader of Black Dragon (www.blackdragonmod.com), a Half Life 2 modification. Our project is a sci-fi/RPG kind of mod. We intend to mix some of the best elements of games you have played before into one solid story driven game. If you have any questions about our idea, please feel free to either post them in the boards or send them to me at blackdragonmod@rediffmail.com

Now, on to the real purpose of this post. Our team has been working very hard at creating some amazing concept pieces. Below is an example of this. This is a group shot of JEC, one of the factions in BD. This pic shows an example of some of the units we have planned.

Most of you may be thinking:
“Here comes another mod project. All they will ask me to do is make some weapons, some vehicles, a couple of characters, and then that is it.” This will not be the case here. Naturally, we need all those things for gameplay. However, we are also planning on having some very exciting and interesting cut scenes and we need skilled individuals to make them happen. For example, we will need a 3D artist or two to work on putting together fictional news casts. This includes commercials as well. In other words, you will not be “stuck” just doing one thing in one style. There will be room for you to grow.

If anyone is interested, please introduce yourself in our forums and post some examples of your work. We are looking forward to hearing from all of you soon.

Dear Black Dragon,

From what I can gather this sounds like it could be fun, My name is Russell and I am a 3D Character animator specializing in 3D Studio Max and Character Studio… If your looking for someone to do character animations I’d be happy to help create your character movements or these “commercials” I would just need more detail.
If you are looking for someone to create the models and texture. I could help, those are not my forte but I’d be willing to give it a stab. Especially if I can take the mod and throw clips of it in my reel and show what I did.
