Looking for help with 3D Modeling and Design
3D printing is looking to be the next big thing, so learning anything about it will be a great for me.
Currently I’d like to know what the best software is to use, and if anyone knew of a good site with tutorials on 3D GFX design.

You can convert data from almost any 3D program and run it through a 3D printer. Solidworks would be the best tool, but you can use everything from 3DS Max to Zbrush. Its just a matter of finding software that will convert your data into a format that the printer can print from.
