Frostie, nothing huge really stands out to me at the moment - if you want to post some fully front and side views, that might be helpful.

Hi rebecca, thank you for the sugestions, I“ll keep them in mind as soon as I get back to this project (working on something else right now). About the eyeslashes, I know they are unnatural (the lower ones at least) but I sort of liked the look of it. I think I“ll eventually moderate them too look more fotorealistic. By the way I“ll let you know if I start a wip with the body, or post it here, will be easiear. Thanks again!
Hey rebecca, I got a front pic for you and a updated perspective one.
I was trying to push the hairline back a bit, cause considering his age, it might have still been to full and far for foward. But I kinda damaged the hair even more while doing that. Will fix it at a later stage, but the problem is that I cant push it up to the next division level cause of my hardware  . Promise to try anyways!
As usual, thanks alot!
Hi Rebecca,
here is a model i recently made available for download. it should work as a good base mesh for sculptors. it also has decent topology for rigging and posing.

download from here:
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=446213ps. i was not sure where to post in the huge artistic anatomy forum, so if you want you can move it to some other appropriate thread if necessary.
mashru,
Big big thanks to you!
Iāve posted a notification of your post here. Thanks so much!
Cheers and Happy New Year!
u r welcome:)
i actually started a new project with the above mesh. i am using Boris and Julieās works as my main references but the final model will be less muscular than it usually is in their works. right now i am blocking out the basic anatomy of the model. it will be posed later on. the facial proportions are still from the base mesh and will change a lot.
anyways, could you crit on this:

thanks in advance.
[left]Frostie,
Sorry for the late reply, you caught me just before the holidays.
In truth, I couldnāt find a lot wrong with your model so far, the main thing it seems to me might be to narrow the width of the nose a bit and perhaps give more depth to the eyesockets. Also (my paintover isnāt the best example) but you might also think about where the wrinkles around the eyes begin. Notice how wrinkles begin at the corner of the eye:

[left]Otherwise, it looks like you are really on track, hope this slight paintover helps:

[left]mashru,
Great model, I only have a few nitpicky things to point out, and theyāre subjective.
I do think the head looks a little small along with the eyes in particular, so I enlarged both, you can see what you think. Right now she appears to have one long clavicle from the front view at least, I think that you may want to make their angle a bit more pronounced from the pit of the neck to give them a wide āVā shape. I think the upper arms look good - nice and organic, if a tiny bit short compared to the lower arms, which seem a bit stiff / straight by comparison - you might give them a bit more organic ābounceā or a bit of a softer curve so that donāt appear manniquin-like.
Hope this paintover is of some use:

[left]Great stuff, thanks for posting guys!

thanks so much for the paintover Rebecca. here is an update with posed version:
looking forward to crits or paintover if possible from you
btw, dont mind the small details such as feet/hand which are very wip.

mashru,
I think this looks great! The two minor things I notice are that the undersides of her upper arms are a bit deflated and the bottoms of her feet flat. It looks like you changed the positions of the clavicles, which looks a lot more natural.
Great stuff!
Hi Rebbecack,
I just found this thread, and think that what you are doing is great. Thank you so much for tips and suggestions.
I was wondering if I could trouble you for some more of your advice⦠I want to get a nice generic head as a base for sculpting, and used Virtual Miss Germany as a front reference image; Interesting Info:
ā¦as well as the bueaty analysis masks, but unfortunately didnāt think I needed a profile. Grave mistake! I have been tweaking and tweaking trying to get it right before I even think about sculpting, and am also changing direction of lots of loops ( top of head right now )⦠I know things are wrong, and I have been looking at it for so long, I wonder if you could lend me some of your advice?
Thanks so much!
Heres the current version of the head

highbred3d,
Welcome to the Anatomy Forum. Thanks for the nice comments and feedback.
I would recommend shaving a bit off the top of the head and adding more mass to the back - the ears should fall roughly midway between the front and back of the skull. The forehead seems a bit steeply vertical, so you may want to try relaxing that angle a bit.
Hope this gif helps - itās only a suggestion:

Thanks Rebecca!
You are totally right, Iāve got a three day weekend this weekend, Iāll finally get back to really cracking at it! Thanks for your input, Iāll post some progress this weekend.
Thanks
Brad
