i did this a long time ago and im considering reworking it. I want to make the action stonger any pointer would be greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

I like the second half, the punch and your name appearing. I think maybe lose the waving arms at the beginning. It doesn’t flow into the punch very well. Just my thoughts anyway :smiley:

The most important part behind any animation is story. (Maybe even behind any drawing of a figure) Come up with a story instead of random movements, some logical combination of poses to capture interest, even if it is only a few seconds long. The timing looks good though!

You could study some manga poses, if that’s the style your going for? Once you have an idea of the action you could act out the moves in front of a mirror or even better a video camera.

I’ve only just started learning animation properly myself. A very good book that everybody recommends is ‘The Animators Survival Kit - Richard Williams’ There’s a link here to the website The Animator’s Survival Kit It’s helped me to understand animation a lot .
