Hello,
I did the following Animation, it’s a Trailer for an Art Show.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-1leKB59EI
My Problem is: Why is the text moving in the beginning flickering at the borders/edges ? I know I should use motion blur, but I already did some tests and it didn’t help. I added the motion blur in AE as shown here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jDWnUDwrH4 (64 sampels). I really tried any setting possible, very weak and very strong motion blur, too.
The problem exists offline inside premiere, AE, VLC and Mediplayer, too. The framerate is 25fps. If I output 30fps (everything is a bit faster, no half-frames!) the issue is still there. Halfframes are no solution too. Ideas?
I have a 30" Dell with 60 Hz. But the issue appears on other peoples PC, too.
I think this video of mine is actually more fluently, isn’t it?

THX
edit: when I increase the framerate to 50 or 60 fps the issue is gone
But can’t put it on youtube this way… Well wasn’t there Cameron and Peter Jackson lately talking about higher framerates or am I doing something wrong anyway?
