2018 Bifrost Aero Help

#1

My background is in 3D character animation so I’m fairly new to dynamics and such. I used Bifrost Aero to model a cloud/puffball, and I
want to use the first frame of the simulation to generate a transformable (trans/rot/scale) object for animating by hand. I love theway the bifrost sim render turned out and don’t want to change any of
the look/shading (I don’t think I want to convert it to a mesh, just use the particles/sim in a suspended state that I can hand key. Is there some way to bake or cache the sim from a
single frame to then use as a separate keyable (trans/rot/scale) object?

I’m using the student version of Maya 2018 on Mac OS High Sierra

Thanks so much for any help in advance!!!
