Hi
I’m searching for a way to bring a ZBrush model into Mudbox, without loosing details or lower subdivision levels. My problem is, that I’m on a Mac and can’t export usefull displacement map. Cause of that, I can’t use the method which Wayne shows in one of his videos.
I have tried the following:
- imported the base level from ZBrush into Mudbox
- divided the model in Mudbox to the the same level as in ZBrush
- imported the highest level from ZBrush into Mudbox as a layer
Unfortunatly the model “exploding” after that. Probably because Mudbox and ZBrush gives the vertecies different IDs when subdividing.
Does anyone knows a solution?
