I used maya for perspective and wall. photoshop for lights and shadows .
In my idea nobody is alone … never .
so be happy … always .
you are not alone …
there is a persian proverb it say that :At despair is many hope .
oh I hope say right .
Is it may all of you speak persian .

yes you right:) but I think that he has be little in that dark place, Its = the concept of my story .

I like very much the way that you compose the image.
It’s not usual to have a big ‘empty’ surface. It make us concentrate on the caracter and on the proverb.
