Alright, they’re probably not the worst films (I forgot the REALLY bad ones already), but those are the bad ones that are still spooking around in my brain.
Independence Day, I just found that film’s story an insult to any viewer’s intelligence. Everything is totally predictable (usa kickz azz). Nice sfx though. Maybe you can even like that flic if you’re a very patriotic american. I’m neither patriotic nor american so…
The Cell with JayLo. I just hated that film on so many levels. Uninspired acting, confusing story, characters I didn’t care about at all, pseudo horror shocker elements that fail right away and made me laugh and the fact that this monster of film just won’ t end.
Star Wars Episode I & II… c’mon how can a villain be named dooku? sure lee roxx but does he deserve to play a character that has a name made up by a 6 year old? Not to mention that the dialogues are utter crap and the movie takes itself way too serious, and then there is Jar Jar “I’m in the flic to bring the kids into the cinema and make them buy merchandise” Binks. Good sfx tho, but then again you’re better off buying the Art of Star Wars book than watching those two.
Gladiator, just for the cheesy ending that cries “Ridley, we’re almost out of film, only 5 minutes left, please make us a cheesay happy end that will make people cry, thx”. Hard to believe that man made Bladerunner. But then again it might be the script writers fault.
Other bad films I remember were those on delta airline flights. I remember that one about a football playing dog - great film to show to a plane bound to europe where half of the passengers have no clue about football and not a single kid is on board.
…
Edit: almost forgot to mention Speed…I HATE THAT FLYING BUS!!
