Worst films ever made

I’m in…

Thin Red LIne - The only movie I’ve ever fell asleep in TWICE. I can’t say enough bad things about this effing piece of garbage. Moronic monologues. just…bad. Bad in the absolute sense.

Titus - !!! Is it for real!!! I thought I dreamed this piece of shite. Beyond horrible. Some of the worst special effects ever…not only that, but they were PRAISED in the DVD special features!!!

Battlefield Earth - somewhere in the ballpark of 22 wipe cuts. Editing like George Lucas will not make your movie like Star Wars guy. Sorry to be the one to tell you. I was warned in advance, but I had to witness the carnage myself. This movie licks.

Ecks Vs. Sever - Should have been called “Ballistic: Bullets vs. Humans” Every actor in that movie can do better. Shame on everyone. I’d rather wait for a bus than watch this again.

P.S. - Freddy got fingered made me laugh, and ARMAGEDDON was good…I cried in the end

The only film I’ve seen that is actually worse is an old film called Rollerblade Seven.

Dude, this film sounds great!

In a post-apocalyptic world where rollerblading is the chief means of travel, the evil Pharoah sends his minions outside the Wheel Zone to abduct a psychic. The psychic has been trained in the way of the samurai, but has shunned her training to become a Passive. Once abducted, her brother joins forces with others to try and rescue her, but they face many challenges from the Dark Side.

i recently saw “the core” and it immediatly made my top 10 worst movie list. sooooo predictable! high up there with armageddon, the rock and outbreak …
snatch on the other hand …

Wow i cant believe everyone hates Armageddon its one of the most underated movies ever.

Its pure popcorn, 1 liners, and parody at its best.

If you tried to take it (or the science ) seriously i think you missed the point. It was a massive sendup of the deep impact/independance day style diaster movies at the time, very funny, very shallow, but brilliant good fun all the same.

But how were the effects in it?

dead man on campus was pretty bad, I actually beat the crap outta my lil brother for renting that one. And me and my lady watched about 10 mins of Kung Pao before i took it back and got my money back. And anything with Pauly Shore is totally useless.

yeah, I remember all the arguments over deep impact and armageddon. they both were popcorn.

I remember people saying there was no realistic physics or science in armageddon, but other people would counter and say, well the next time I have a tidal wave coming, I’ll have time to put on my helmet before I outrun it.

I thought armageddon was a “good” entertainming movie, no different then a James bond movie. deep impact tried for a story, and I thought it was blaahhhh.

I still think neither should be a worst movie ever, but Ecks AND Tank Girl are the worst!!!

hmm. all right i guess. i didn’t like the “big” sequence at the end all that much, it looked a bit videogame-ish imho but maybe i was just distracted by the ridiculousness of the whole plot. they had a wild drill, though some cool pigeons and a nice em-field.

rebo, i know what you’re saying about popcorn vs. science, it was just stuff like that completely useless MIR sequence that made me hate armageddon. along with the corny heroism, i.e. well styled army dudes clapping girls asses and fighting a 20feet space alien with the other hand … starship troopers was a nice parody on all that stuff.
while we’re at it, i didn’t like the planet of the apes remake all that much either!

LOL… I asked because a friend of mine worked on some of the visual effects… I think mainly the core itself but I’m not sure…

Navy Seals.

I sat-up late one night watching a film that I thought was a Naked Gun or Hot-Shots movie…until it smacked me in the face that the TV guide said “Military Thriller.”

Delta Force.

I’m sorry, but the “I never leave a man behind” routine at the begining makes me laugh until I stop breathing! I remember asking a friend the question - “In this film, they say that Delta Force is supposed to be a top-secret special ops team in real life and that no-one has ever heard of them?” He replied…

“Jesus, everyone wishes they hadn’t heard of them!”:applause:

Chalk another one up for anything Peter Jackson’s done beside LOTR.

His zombie movies suck the big one.

AMEN TO THAT!!

There is a difference between bad movies and entertaining movies

Battlefield Earth is entertaning cause you can laugh at it, and so is Operation Delta force 4

But the worst crap ever to face this world, Black Belt Angels, it’s
not even laughable.
Often you can make a bad movie entertaining by the use
of some friends, but not in this case
