Terminator 3, this piece of cinematic blasphemy ruined the series for me.
James Cameron should be rolling in his silk sheets right now.

The Charlies Angels movies, I know these are meant to be “fun”, and you are supposed to labotomise yourself before watching such films, but why do the movies execs think the general audience is such a bunch of dambasses!:wip:
A.I= Nice concept, was doing ok, stupid f**ing ending! Aliens???!!! WTF!!!
Robocop3: The final destruction of a good concept and a promising beginning, they converted it to a stinking peice of family values poo!
im going to a cinema department in high school (god that sounds so professional in english), in my country from age 6-12 is elementary school, 12-15 is another one that i forgot its name in english and 15-18 is high school.
so anyway my sister told me (she is now graduationg from the same high school in the cinema department) that because u learn the history of film industry they make u watch for 4 hours a black and white movie with no sound. the horror
and i dont like those movies, i must say i love action, comede, action comedy and my favourite is of course animated films.
emperros new groove rocks. i do watch hard films also (only me and my friends from our age level saw “Mystic River” and “Monster”), but those movies are hard to watch and i like light movies that u can just enjoy them (forget that after seeing “the last samurai” i decided i want to live by the way of the saumrai :D, or that part of me wants to believe that Elves to exist (they do i tell u).
shouldnt there be a “best films” thread also? i saw “Kill Bill Volume 2”, it was brilliant, the cinematography was just incredible (all those different atmospheres and different cinematography), and those great dialoges and clever jokes “i want to watch shogun wars” ^^. and i found the action better (i just loved Pai Mai, great character) then in the first movie.
Children of the Corn - some Stephen King rubbish (is there any other kind ?).
I seem to remember someone getting locked in the boot of a car about half way through and the story never ever got back to them - perhaps they are still in there!
I had to dash my head against a brick wall immediately afterwards - IT WAS THAT BAD!!!
I don’t know if any of you has already said this…but ‘Final Destination’ is one of the most awfull movie I saw.
The idea of the death that follows its victims…and what about hte way they die???A girl hit by a bus while she was talking to her boyfriend…the teacther killed by the splinters of a computer monitor and then a big knife into her heart pushed by a chair…this is not a movie neither a comic one…it’s just crap!

i saw part of it 2 years ago, scared the shit out of me, i just dont like horror movies.
I couldn’t sleep a while back,and switched on the telly at 2 am…
I then got assaulted by a alleged “comedy” starring Dom Deluise called Fatso…
Couldn’t fall asleep…just sat there, staring at the screen for like 2 hours,
and I STILL don’t get it…Just pure garbage.
How the bloody HELL was that even remotely funny?
Lots of older norwegian movies…like Hud…Damn that sucked…
Surprised at alot of what’s brought up here tho…
Seems alot of you guys haven’t been exposed to enough bad movies
Oh,and sorry…can’t find the posters name,but…
Blood sucking freaks? That’s a pure classic man
Sure it’s bad, incredibly bad,but I remember watching it in a bar years ago,
and I thought it was kinda entertaining in an awful way.

I think you missed a major plot point. Those were NOT aliens. They were the “mecha” robots that had evolved and outlasted the human population.
Ahhhh…suddenly it makes more sense?
Watched Kill Bill V1 last night… it gets my vote to be on this list…
10% Beautiful Camera Work/Cinematography
10% Brilliant Coreography
20% Weak Uninteresting Story
20% Horrible Soundtrack/Score
20% Innanely Predictable Plot Twists
10% Rediculous Blood Fountains
10% Missing Something
I have loved every film QT has done, until now… this was so tedious that I turned it off 3 times… I just kept hoping that it would get good. It didn’t.

watch Kill Bill Volume 2 and ull see a brilliant movie Tarantino Style, great cinematography, very very good jokes, i loved the new characters (Pai Mai), and of course great dialoges
I absolutely loved both parts of “Kill Bill” myself, probably movie(s) of the year for me and the missus ( and it’s so rare Mrs Steve agrees with me on anything, far less movies…).
I think it’s more an affectionate tribute to spaghetti westerns and 70’s kung fu flicks that a traditional Tarantino movie though, that may be why a lot of fans of his earlier work don’t seem to be digging it.
I love those kinda films though, so I sat with a big grin on my face most of the way through.
Besides, my crouching hamster style is superior to your snake eagle kung fu.
-Steve
Edit:
Just got back from watching “Zatiochi”, that’s rather ace as well…
Oh, and I totally agree with SilverSpark on Terminator3…I could go into great depth about how much I loathed that film, but I don’t even want to think about it again…
If anyone here worked on the cg / visuals I congratulate you, the effects were very well done I thought.
If you happened to write the screenplay, thanks for ruining one of the best sci-fi franchises in movie history…
After reading this extremely long thread, I can’t believe some of the responses didn’t mention some of the worst movies.
Worst Book to Movie
Rising Sun
If you’ve ever read the book, you know what I mean. The killer in the book wasn’t even the same guy in the movie. Ruined every minute of it. (Still not worst movie ever, though)
Worst Comic Book Adaptation
Barb Wire
I’ve seen Daredevil but not The Hulk. The Hulk would be hard-pressed to compare with this stankwad of a flick. Nothing more than Casablanca done way wrong. Bad, bad, bad movie.
Worst Video Game to Movie
Wing Commander
You’d think this would’ve been a good movie with Chris Roberts in charge of it and Digital Domain doing the effects. It wasn’t. Perhaps the only movie I’ve ever went to the theater and got up and walked out. It was that bad.
There are tons of bad movies. No doubt. Those three are my worst picks in their category with the “lowest” marks going to Wing Commander.
Well hey people - Pearl Harbor’s just started on TV here - should I watch it or do I risk going blind??
Good things:
Kate Beckinsale’s in it.
They do blow a lot of things up in the last half hour
Bad things:
Everything else.
Yes - it seems WWII was fought by people with very long chins…
:surprised
Has anyone seen Hobgoblins? Whoever created that film should be set on fire and then put out with a bag of hammers.
Actually, since watching Hollywood movies I have it on good authority that WWII was fought exclusively by the USA.
Even the Battle of Britain–despite its deceivingly descriptive name–was, in fact, fought and won by an American pilot (see upcoming Tom Cruise film for details).

Well, I would think since Hollywood is located in America most studios doing WW2 movie would focus on the part America played since that is what probably the American audience would like to see. However if you look at some old B/W movies, there are a lot of ones showing what the British and Russians did. Granted Britian was basically going one on one w/ Germany for most of the war, but once the American’s came in thats when the entire shift of power happened and stayed on the Allies side.
As for the Battle of Britain thing w/ Tom Cruise… its Tom Cruise take it w/ a grain of salt. Hahaha
