Wire deformers not working when moved form origin.

Ok so I got a pice of geo I need to have it deformed by wires. The set up is like this: geo, wires to deform, curves to control the clusters that are made from wire curve.

The clusters are relative, and point constrained to the controlers. The wire, base, and control are all part of the root control of the geo. The cluster is grouped to it self, and also part of the root group. The geo also has a skin cluster, the wire deformer is after the skin cluster.

My question is: since the base fallows the clustered curve and the clusters are relative. Why is the wire only deforming the geo in the drop off distance area? The deformers work great as long as the object stays under 10 units. That is how high I set the drop off distance, same thing goes for 5 or 20. As long as I stay in the drop off distance box the wire works as soon as I get out from that are the wire no longer works.

Any one have any idea why this is happening? And how can I get the wire to work great out side the drop off distance?

I have added an example file.

Hi !
Re arrange you Input order, so that wire node is on top of the skinCluster node.

Shinyprem. In the file example I set up, if you change the input order and put the wire before the skin cluster at the top of the window, you will notice that it wont work at all. If the skin cluster gets read first and then the wire it works just fine. The problem is when the geo moves out of range of drop off distance.
