I’ve been trying to test and improve my very basic 3d skills and I would love to hear what you would do to improve the model, lighting and/or texturing.

I wanted to create a realistic looking camera with a vintage/retro feel for a still, perhaps for a pop art style poster with a single, bold coloured background.
I think the leather looks unrealistically flat (although it does have a normal map) and the wood looks a little plasticy… I want the wood to have a gloss and some texture to it but it doesn’t quite look right.
Also, I’ve been increasing the intensity of the mental ray phsysicalsun but I can’t seem to get the lighting to look any brighter.
Anyway, any feedback is much appreciated, thank you!
