WIP - Lady's Kiss - Caution:possibly offensive content

Hello all-
I’ve been working on this painting for a while and would like to know if anyone has any thoughts on how to really make it POP, in an illustration type style. I feel it’s almost there, but there’s something missing with the light or the colors. Any thoughts?

If you know what could make this better, please feel free to share! In particular I’m thinking about light and color, but if there’s anything that’s gone unnoticed with regard to form, shadows, etc, please feel free to comment. I appreciate any help!!

Hello! I’m not an expert myself, so you can ignore my suggestions, if you don’t agree.
The pose of the lady in green dress seems a bit stiff to me, her right hand looks odd, and her left hand seems too short. Maybe make her holding hands with the other lady or hold the tray differently? I also think the ladies are placed a bit too high, not too much space above their heads, maybe move them down a bit?
I like their hairstyles, they look pretty, and I also like how the part of the window under their faces looks like a heart :slight_smile:
