Hi Sibi,

Welcome to the challenge! Having a big tower focal point in the bg is interesting. The big towers in the midground though I’m not sure is working as well, they’re pretty overpowering and top heavy. Also the big facing cliffs of the theme is missing more in this concept, as well as a defined gorge (or maybe it’s just too small in the bg ground).

Hi David,
Thanks for your comments.Before I painted the Midground towers to add some interest to the compostion.Now I realise that was overpowering.So reworked on the concept little.Added Some big cliffs in the side and worked on the gorge,made it bigger and visible in the bg.Started collecting the Hires reference.

Hi,

The central vanishing point didn't tie in to the existing plate.Compositionally, there was a lot going on with the wires, fence, street poles, and the existing plate.So I repainted the concept by simplifying the shot according to the correct vanishing point,so eye can rest on the infinite space.Added some Bg mountains.Will start working on the shot with reference images.

I think showing a bit more of the FG structure on the right will help you make the styleframe feel more like a canyon :wink:

The FG RHS is feeling more like a deep canyon now. Maybe continuing it with buildings to the top will help make it feel deeper.
The bg feels very open right now, and the tower is taking a lot of attention.
Keep going!! :slight_smile:
