Hey everyone, I wanted to try out this challenge as well! This is what I have so far, a rough idea of the general composition and mood. It will have more creative elements added as I progress, I’m sure I’ll have fun with it. Awesome challenge!

Hey, here my WIP finally is! Mine has a warm feel of sunset and a view to the ocean. I’m just not completely sure about the perspective of the buildings related to the sea. Is it ok/should it be adjusted? Thanks for any feedback :slight_smile:

Hi Elenia… how’s going

You perspective is definitely off.
you should trace your perspective lines and they should run to vanishing points.
These vanishing points must be located in your horizon line…
Actually the first thing you should define/trace is your horizon line, and in your image it seems you have 2 horizons.

Try to imagine where the lines from the plate goes, and your horizon will be approximately in that bridge you drew.

Quick suggestion: get rid of the tropical ocean and far mountains and put a beautifull sky there.

Thanks for the feedback! The perspective was really off…It looks more realistic now. I finally got my new drawing tablet, so I’ll be painting full speed :wink:
