I’m working on a marketing video for a salvage cylinder, a device used to handle damaged compressed gas cylinders. The model came from my Solidworks design and was translated to Cinema 4D using Polytrans. A few pieces were remodeled to save polys, but it still came in at around 300K. (Don’t ask for a wire: it’s just ugly.) Just finished most of the texturing. Still a few problems to smooth out, but I’m mostly pleased. Here are a couple of quick renders from today. The hatch that belongs on the front is absent because we are changing the design here at the last minute. Probably won’t have that on till the end of the week, but I’m going to begin some animating. The lights are just studio lights from texturing. They came out fairly interesting just the same.
A few questions to ask, but that’ll have to wait for tomorrow. Any comments are welcome…
