Great Coastal Gate is located in Tallinn Old Town, Estonia, Europe.
I took this plate shot with my camera and I want to take this place back to medieval Old Town; torch lights, fishing boats on the shore with cottages.
As you can see it’s very messy at this stage. I’m struggling with ground perspective. Any comments or help with my perspective is very welcome. Thanks.[b]

If you’re having problems with perspective there’s a neat little trick you can do which is illustrated well on dylan cole’s matte painting dvds.
If you use the plate to draw perspective lines on a separate layer in PS then you can use these to establish a horizon line which will better serve you with your ground perspective. For example i would use the hard edges of the top of the cathedral just below the spire to extend perspective lines and start to build a guide using these.
