I pulled an unfinished drawing from my archives and I’ll be working on completing this for the Challenge. I haven’t been doing much art lately, it will be good to have a project again. It looks like I’m going solo in this Challenge so far. Hopefully, others will be inspired to join in … :shrug:

If not, I look forward to awarding myself imaginary internet points as winner of this Challenge. Don’t complain about it later. :smiley:

Well, the Spade is used frequently in old school hot rod art. I’m going to attempt to reproduce that style. I’m thinking some wild neon colors over some heavy black lines. The kiddie car is for pure nostalgia. I’m going to probably give him a demon head or something equally satanic to throw it into that realm of rebellious rock and roll attitude. I can see it looking awesome in my head … let’s see how badly I mess it up in execution. :smiley:

Not much of an update. Meh … doesn’t seem like anyone is following this challenge anyway. :shrug:

Getting close to finished. But still have a lot of decisions to make with this. Background (if any) will be the toughest thing to complete this week. We’ll see …

Going to work on those eyeballs tomorrow and then decide if I want/need a background for this piece. Then I can call it finished.

I would add background or shadow (or something) so that car wouldn’t float in air, but who am i to tell you :smiley:

Maybe a few more tweaks here and there, but I’m mostly finished now. Thanks to the two people who stopped by my thread and left a comment. Thank you to the lurkers, I see you looking. Maybe say, “hello” next time around? This was fun even though participation in the challenge was abysmal.

Well … can’t force people to participate. What are you gonna’ do? :shrug:

Oh … had a few lurkers on my UStream channel while I was working on this. Don’t know if they came from this thread, but thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed the music. Check back occasionally. I’m not always online … but when I am, I like to share my music or Pandora channel.
