#11

Made a little progress tonight. Added ears, eyes and fixed splines in face.

#12

It’s matching your sketch very well. Looking good!

Jim

#13

OK, made a little more progress tonight added some more details and played around a little with hair for his fur coat.

#14

wow! you’re fast!

love the KISS buckle (is that why he’s called bucky?) Are you going to give him the full KISS look too?

#15

Thanks hoochoochoochoo,

Yes, I want to give him more of KISS look, try to make him look like a head banger dwarf
and no I didn’t really have a reason for naming him Bucky besides I had to name him something but you gave me an idea maybe I should change his name to Roady or something to do with KISS.

#16

Had a couple more hours to work on dwarf. Played with new hair feature like everyone else (and it is a cool new feature).
changed his name to Rhoady.

#17

Cool hair! Party on, Rhoady!

Nice character, by the way. The only thing that bothers me is the feet pointing out to the sides. It looks like he should fall over. Otherwise very nice!

Jim

#18

I love the hair. He certainly looks like a KISS fan. Which version did you do the hair in?

#19

Thanks for the comments.
your right about the feet he does look like he may fall over. I will fix before rigging him and I used version 11 hair.

#20

I realy like the details. Makes for a believable character. And his hairy bib thing looks nice too. How did you make the eyes? Are those pupils animatable?

#21

Thanks John,

The eyes are just scaled down spheres on z axis. Usually I just make pupil child bone of eye bone and scale parent bone but I want to try relationships to a null for pupils see how this works. I would like to try out some of the new features of v10 for the facial setup, now that I have it running pretty well

#22

got a few more hours to work on dwarf, added some decals and changed his shoes to socks getting itchy to rig now

#23

dagooos,

Rhoady looks great! Nice work. Can’t wait to see him posed with his fist over his head or playing air guitar.:buttrock:

Well finally got him rigged, He still has some issues though with his legs and hands that need to be resolved. I did manage to get his fur coat to look almost like I had in mind. I still have to add some eye brows my 2 year old daughter asked me why he didnt have eyebrows?
