Hello! I’m currently working on this picture, trying to learn how to use colours and light properly. I’m struggling with colour scheme and lighting… First I intended to light the airship from behind, but now I’m not sure it looks nice. I’m also not sure about colours, I know they look very boring, but I feel a bit afraid to use vivid colours, because usually it doesn’t look natural when I do it. The picture is not detailed now, I’d like to add more details when I’m sure about colours and light/shadows… Now I just keep painting over and over trying to figure out the colours.
I’d also like to show that there’s life down there, like busy street or something… however I still want the focus to be on airship.
Sorry for the long post, I’d really appreciate any feedback and advice, anything.
