I you aiming for realism.

#13

My guess is that you use the following …35mm image as reference for the front view. Ignoring the lens distortion of the picture made you model it wrong. But I will wait to see to orthographic views before judging yuour modeling techniques

Let me expain the lens distortion issue: You lose the ears and the main shape of the face. It’s very hard to sculpt a model without knowing that factor.

We are still waiting to see your reference pictures

Thanks for sharing. I create a ref head board from Angelina using google images. Maybe that will help you achieve your goal of likeness

Mainly the eyes are to big to be realistic. Also the iris his way to big and that black pupil is too open (could be realistic, if someone flash you to take a picture your eyes try to adapt and the pupil contract)

The head is a bit big also compare to the rest of the body.

Of course my 3/4 view ref didn’t have the same rotation, so you should adjust base on that.

I also don’t know the focal lense of these pictures but by rule of thumbs, I can guess a 80-120mm

cheers

If this is Angelina Jolie and he’s Brad Pitt the scale are wrong… She look 1 feet higher.

#19

I know. I was looking for them to place this bad scene.

#20

Hey. Can somebody tell somebody else?

Can the characters must be placed in the inside poznmelya, and not outside?

#21

Not sure to understand your sentence. Can’t you clarify?

#22

Can I put the characters in the dungeon?

#23

If you want to, why couldn’t you?

#24

I think the model is good, but maybe you need some more work on sss shader, as now shadows look too opaque.

#25

Yes. But maybe you can change something in this scene? Make more realistic.

#26

What specifically can you advise?

#27

First of all choose a different light setup, its too one sided, play around with a new setup, make the light model your object, it has to be appealing to the eye, it has to catch people’s attention at first sight, perhaps if the scene took place inside the dungeon would be better, so you throw in a couple of torches to light the scene, then you start building a simple three point light setup, play around with it until you have an interesting lighting system.

Then focus on all your shaders, they look too simple, that’s why it looks fake, for example, look at his armor or at her clothes, its just a simple mate, where’s the dirt, dust, scratches, etc.

#28

Thanks for the advice.

#29

How to fix it.
