seemaschere,
Yeah, thanks for that, will edit this!
I’m still working on lighting here and probably will get another one.
Thanks for taking a look!

There’s some excellent feedback here, and Igor it’s looking so great!! Nice work

#16

David, thank you!

and guys

Here is a final version of this matte-painting. Thanks everyone for keeping me motivated to get this one nailed.

#17

Impressive turn around time and good job on taking direction as well as interpreting notes. Well done.

#18

Yes! Nice work Igor

#19

Thank you guys!

I appreciate your support!
Will post later on some new things

Keep it up with great activity ! That’s really cool here

#20

The only way to keep up the activity is if you all spread the word. The more DMPs you get involved, the greater amount of feedback you will receive. Also keep an eye out for future “Meet the Artist” features on CG Talk, and upcoming challenges!

#21

Hi Milan,
Yeah that’s true! Actually I’ve already told to some of my friends about this nice resurrection of this forum and they got here! Also I’ve posted a link on my facebook page so if some of my friends wonder of my art they will definitely check the link out and get here as well

I’m not sure about challenges because I’m going to Vancouver to MPC in nearest future so at the moment don’t know how the things will go. I was waiting for my visa almost half a year, and today I got it! so it was not as easy… I think you know it

Anyway thanks again, and will check around to keep the activity as well!

#22

Yay congratso on your Vancouver to MPC gig Igor! Great to hear. And yes the challenges will be a great assistance to bringing lots of traffic to this site, which would drive feedback for all. Thanks

#23

Thanks David!

I believe one day we will work together ;)))

#24

Yes, the industry is small, sure will!

#25

Great news! Congratulations

#26

thank you guys so much for your support! I’m happy with that!
p.s. sorry for late post, getting a bit crazy here…so many things to solve before leaving

#27

Good luck at MPC Vancouver.
They have many talented artists there and I’m sure you will learn a lot during your time in Vancouver.

Hope you’re ready for the rain.

#28

Thanks Milan!
I think I’m ready, It’s been a long time to sort out the process of getting into MPC, because if you’re in Russian citizen or Indian citizen it’s always quite difficult to get employers motivated to bring you in-house. It always takes so long to get visa and really not everyone wants to wait that. So I must be really skillful and powerful (hehe  in order to show people and potential employers that I’m a person they need.

Thanks again Milan…See you around

#29

Well, i’m not a professionnal but i love the mood and lights… We have a really feeling of depth …

part i love the most is the firstground with the house, it’s looking peacefull

Congrats !

#30

Give me a shout when you’re in Vancouver  Pack up a solid umbrella as it’s raining daily here :stuck_out_tongue:

Btw, on the topic and just to be nitpicking - am I the only one who feels the valley is too dark? I feel like there should be some sun lit areas peeking in there  Other than that really cool scene

#31

rainth , Thanks for your kind words, appreciate this!

Suirebit , Yeah man, will catch up once we got there

About the picture, well, In my opinion because of sun is quite low, the village is totally covered with shadows from some mountains around the village and only some high parts of mountains\hills can catch some highlights from the sun. That’s reason why I was going this way

See you around

p.s. tomorrow we’re going…

#32

Yes, but it is high enough to fully hit the entire roof of the middle house, so that’s why it feels to me that there should be some highs peeking in the valley (not many, but a few). Anyway, that’s just nitpicking. See you here!

Congratulations on your new position :applause:
