Took a bit of thought and wanted to do soemthign unusual so I decided to make a llama. I think they have funny faces and are interestign looking. Right now he is ver rough. I tend to do a very smooth and refine and smooth on export when I do animals and characters. I work a lot in smoothe dpreview mode to get an idea of what it will look like smoothed.

Wings challenge llama
Well smoothed and tweaked a bit to get some things looking better. Have not found a referance for what the feet look like. From what I can see they look quite small but weather the hooves are split or not I don’t know all the pics I found don’t show them.
Very cool thanks for the pic there. The pics I have don’t show the feet. I think llamas have a comical look and find them interesting. The feet are much different than expected. But that is cool I will work on them a bit. I am now going for a sort of semirealistic toon look. Keep some fun in it. Join in the contest if you know wings.
Let’s hear it for Llamas. Did a texture on him it is Ok but Llamas are too wooly to really do well this way. Maybe soem sort of displacement shader of some sort that I don’t have the resources for now would work. Anyways thansk for the link to the llama game her eis anotehr one the dreaded llama song. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/llama.php Anyways hoping to see more entries.
I like the model, but would like to see it finished without texture for now. The shape of the head looks really nice.
You’ve got time for some detail modeling, I think! Keep up the great work!
Depending on how I feel after work today I may start a quick model for the challenge. I have no idea what to do yet though…
Thanks for participating!
Thanks M3NG. OK some wires and a closup of the face. Was going for more of a toon style Llama he is Alvin of the Andes. Really difficult to go into detail on a llama because of all the wool.

Anyways to make it more official here is the wires of the compleated llama with a closup of teh face. I smooth x1 on export. This helps with organic models I can do a smoothed preview and see the smoothed models and I have a lower res model to work with.
