Wings and Blender helping each other (see picture)

#1

This I found in scorpius’s web page http://www.redrival.com/scorpius/info.htm

Modeling done in Wings, while the lighthing is calculated by Blender. Looks pretty cool :bounce:

Not to mention that now there is direct path to pass models between Blender and Wings without using 3rd party formats, like .OBJ

Oh oh! Really? Where? When? How?:bounce:

EDIT: I just realised it was on Scorpius’s site. Sorry!

Hmmm…The plugins give this error when i try to use them :

"Traceback (most recent call last):
File “<string?>”, line 22, in ? "

I’m using version 2.32 of Blender. :hmm:

#5

Hmmmm… I just tested them and it worked fine.

However, I’m not using the official 2.32 release (allways hated it for many reasons! ), Instead I’m using one of the experimental versions (those called tuhopuu) that are available from http://www.blender.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB2&file=viewforum&f=18

The tuhopuu versions allways have the newest features (those that are in testing for release in the upcoming Blender versions -some times even 3 versions ahead of the feature release date), but since they are so experimental they tend to be less stable… at least in theory, because in the practice they are as stable as the official relases, but your milleage may vary.

well now, that IS an interesting development… i may follow this.

#7

Cool. Thanks Apollux! I’m download Tuhupoo now!
