Wings 3D Question

#1

Well, here I am again with another question. How do I save wireframe shots to my computer in Wings 3D?

#2

Wrong forum man.

Don’t think there was a wireframe render option last time I saw Wings, why not just printscreen it to the clipboard then paste it into your paint proggy of choice?

#3

damncing monkey please post your wings questions under the wings 3d forum.

moved the thread for this once.

#4

or ya use the print screen button, (right about the insert key on most keyboards)

anyways get IrfanView, www.irfanview.com and here is the workflow i use for printscreens

- IN WINGS
_get view you want
_hit the print screen button

-IN IRFAN VIEW
_hit ctrl+v to paste the screen capture into IF
_(you will want to crop the image) select portion of the screeny you wish to show (just drag selection) hit ctrl+y to crop
_(you might also want to resize) hit ctrl+r to open the resize window (set any settings you want, i usually go for a 50 percent resize… but thats usually because im at 1600x1200 ressolution :))
_hit the “s” key to save as
_enter a name for the image + select image type to save to, i usually do .jpg at 70% to 80% compress
_hit ok

and there you have it. really though this is what it looks like without my explaining each step

-IN WINGS
_prt scr

-IN IF
_ctrl+v
_select region, ctrl+y
_ctrl+r, set settings
_s
_enter name, select file type

done

pretty damn simple eh?
