Wings 0.98.21b is out !!

P.S. The 0.98.21a was built, but was never released.

  • Corrected a bad bug when using secondary (vector) selections for
    commands such as Extrude and Extract: The already extruded or extracted
    geometry would be used in the secondary selection mode, which would
    make it difficult to make a correct selection. Furthermore, canceling
    out the operation would not restore the original unmodified geometry.
    (Problem reported by PuzzledPaul.)

  • Lighting did not update while moving lights (other than in Body mode).
    (Problem reported by wasamonkey/BunjiB.)

  • Hiding an object in proxy mode and with virtual mirror would cause
    a crash. (Problem reported by ICR82NZ/PC.)

  • When a virtual mirror is setup using Tools|Virtual Mirror|Create,
    the mirror face will no longer have its material reassigned to hole.
    Instead, the mirror face will be totally invisible.

  • Fixed problem with crashes that could occur when using interactive
    Cut (Cut RMB = Cut at arbirtrary position).

  • When an interactive Cut (Cut RMB) was finished, the cut vertex would
    be invisible. Corrected. (Problem reported by PuzzledPaul.)

  • The material created for an Image Plane now has emission and diffuse
    set to white and the other colors to black to make the image plane
    clearly visible in any lighting. (Suggested by wasamonkey.)

  • View|Frame would crash if there were objects with no geometry in
    the scene. (Problem reported by SoulVector.)

  • Menus opened from the top menu bar in each window (such as “File” and
    “Help”), can now be closed by clicking one more time. (Suggested by Bry.)

Yafray updates by Raimo:

  • Improved resolution of console rendering progress meter.

  • Changed strategy to find renderer executable path: does not longer try
    to expand the full executable path - if the executable is found in
    the path its short name is simply used instead of expanded and then
    used. This hopefully solves the problem with spaces in path on all
    Windows versions. When a .bat file has to be scanned the full found name
    is used as before, note that .bat files are obsolete with YafRay 0.0.6.
