Wierd renders.

Mello!

Lately i’ve just been experimenting with the Yafray plugin and modelling. Whenever i render something in Yafray, the image seems to have a slight tinge of blurryness in it, any idea’s why?

And another thing, I added some materials to some primitives and made a test render, it seems to output the primitives with some patern, when i didnt add any. Help would be greatly appreciated! :bounce:

I’ve attached the test render, and you can see the bit of blur it seems to have too.

Here is the link to the image, it was too large to attach :\
Test Image, Look at the slight blur too

This page is not available.

The blurriness might be caused by using too much anti-alias.

The “patterns” might be caused by a tileable texture that is scaled too small leaving some moiree patterns.

But it would be good to see the pic.

Best regards.

Hmmm…I checked the settings, and most of them are default, i’ve even changed settings. But it gives the blurry result still.

And i dont think its a texture problem with that pattern, as i didnt add any. :hmm:

By the way, i tried another render, and the texture isnt there now. I dont see what i could have done wrong. I do hope it isnt a bug of some sort.

And try the link again, if it doesnt work download the zipped one. Geocities can be evil at times.:frowning:

Heres the first image
Here’s the zipped. Sorry for the inconvenience.:frowning:
Here’s an image of the settings i’ve used.
Thanks for your help, and sorry for the trouble.

That IS weird.
Worse than I thought.

Sorry but I can’t figure out what is wrong.

Better try what actarusprocyon suggested.
