I don’t know why photoshop cs4 x64 edition always crash whenever i change the paintbrush opacity to non-default 100%.Same issue occured whenever i change the brush type to any non-standard shape.I’ve disable the GPU enhancement feature, but it doesn’t help. And everytime photoshop crash ,windows crash too! I use winXP SP2 x64,and i’ve update my display driver to the latested nvidia version.
Anybody know why this happen to me?

Sounds like a job for Adobe Customer Support!

I don’t what’s causing it, but I can tell you that it doesn’t crash on my computer when I do that, I use CS4 64 bit, Vista X64 SP1

I don’t have the solution, all I can say is that I don’t have that issue; Vista X64 SP1, CS4 X64.

Btw, Windows XP X64 is not supported by Adobe. The requirements for Photoshop CS4 are, and I quote the web site,

Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 (Service Pack 3 recommended) or Windows Vista® Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise with Service Pack 1 (certified for 32-bit Windows XP and 32-bit and 64-bit Windows Vista)
