i bounce between a bunch
most of the time. It would be modo. Modeler of course is always there with all of its plugins for any specific work. Maya if i feel that history is useful or if im doing light modeling for a maya project. Im playing around with silo but im kind of torn between displacement painting abilities and the fact that i feel its kind of redundant, although i just might buy it since it is so cheap. Probably for purely displacement work.
I would have to say that silo has a bit better workflow then modo, but modo kinda redeems itself with its awesome renderer and does have really nice texturing tools, something that silo would sorely lack if i start getting into displacements, still kind of on the fence on silo - i have the demo version but i think ill hold off until 2.0 demo is released.
