Which 3D Apps render the fastest??

hi all,

i would like to know which 3D Apps render the fastest?

if given a scene that is the same, render in the same machine, but with different 3D Apps. which Apps will render more efficiently/faster in a single pass?

bcoz i’m a Lightwave user, and i’ve recently seen the demo for MODO, this question just pops into my mind, and i havent seen a topic on any forum regarding this question.

for Lighwave, there’s the plugin call FPrime, which render at least 10x faster than LW’s native render. i know 3D Max have Brazil and Vray, some how they are still slower than Fprime.

so people who uses multiple 3D Apps, please give your comment.
is there some sort of benchmark for 3D Apps? i know the net have tons of benchmark for games, so why not for 3D Apps?
