Where to put normal map?

I’m trying to apply ready textures to vray material, but I’m not sure where to put textures. I got normal map and it doesn’t work fine when I connect it to displacement slot. However I get pretty good result when I place depth texture into the displacement slot. Is it where it should be to get best result?
2. Should gloss texture be placed in the reflection slot or glossiness slot?
3. Is Hi-Gloss the same as Gloss but “more wet”?
4. Should AO map be connected to vray dirt and blended with diffuse in vray blend material?

there will be a “bump” node in your shader somewhere. plug your normal map into that. be sure to switch the bump mode to “tangent space normals”

displacement node is for displacement maps. check out a youtube video on the difference between normal/bump maps and displacement maps. it’s a good thing to know.
