Okay people, I know you’re all really excited, but we can’t start the challenge until us moderators are all back from holiday, and rested :slight_smile:
Plus, we still hve to finalise what the topics will be, as we are still throwing ideas around (all of which are cool, which makes the decision as to which one we use that much harder).
So that is why it is taking a while :slight_smile:

since I know Leigh has an animated Gif Avatar…and I know she looks in on this thread once in awhile…I’ll ask this ??? here…if it’s ok…

what’s a good little app to toss a animated gif together in…I ask, cause I like how some of you all’s avatars…stay the same for a bit…but then have the quick change to something else…like Leigh’s Tounge sticking out…etc…and I figure it’s not 30 frames of one image…but rather a program that sets it up telling it to show the same image for 30 frames…etc…anyway…I think I prolly lost most of you by now…

any suggestions on an app?

I use animationshop (i think) for html gifs I made a while ago, you can get it with Jasc Paintshop Pro at www.jasc.com

Adobe ImageReady. (You know, that program that comes with Photoshop?)
It’ll do EXACTLY what you’re looking for.

It ROCKS!!! Very easy to use :D:D:D
You can make an animated GIF in a matter of minutes, plus it works brilliantly together with Photoshop - just put each different movement (like me with no tongue sticking out, and one with the tongue showing) on different layers, and then you can use them as frames in ImageReady. Then all you do is specify how long you want each frame to hold for, and you’re set!!
