Im having a bit of trouble figuring out how I could make some type of expression
to control the speed of a wheel using sliders. Any ideas on how I could do that?
Wheel control
The speed of a free running wheel that’s not touching the ground?
NOW * [Slider:xpos] should do it, multiplied by whatever you want your full rotation per frame to be.
A wheel rotating along the ground does a certain amount of rotation that is mathermagical (see attatchment). It could be useful to use ODist here instead of PathSoFar for the distance travelled. (you can get odist from zoogono.com)
If you’re asking to spin the wheel with a slider you could just multiply the result with a slider channel before adding it to the rotation channel.
I need to start using the command tab more lol, anyhow I got it working the way I wanted it to using a multiply expression with a slider. Thanks for the help.
