What's your favorite EI Shader

#1

If you don’t see your favorite…you know what to do! Oops. Forgot to make this one public. Oh well… you can vote in secrecy!

Well this one’s easy Brian  the collaboration between konkeptoine and Paul.S produced one of the greatest shaders ever, and the presets are fantastic, nothing else like M-Forge

I like MForge and use it alot but I think I may use DirtLayer more often…

#4

Given that I even dont have any Mforge at all, the NX Shadings-system seems to me as versatile and powerful as useful for many daily bread and butter needs.

I like Conception and K-Myst very much and at one time used a lot of AG shaders (haven’t upgraded since the OS9 versions though) but use DirtLayer the most.

#6

I have to agree heartily with Reuben on this one, mForge is simply unrivaled in getting that “Wow” effect you so like to hear from your clients

#7

Well it is my favorite shader, but if someone said “i’m going to take away all your shaders but one” then maybe i would pick another… probably NX, does most everything, very powerfull shader.

Well… I don’t have any of the ones on the list… how sad, huh?

But, the one I drool after more than any other is MForge.

I also have TileCraft from Konkeptoine, which is pretty neat, but specialized. The free AG_Clipper has gotten me out of a few sticky spots as well.

Favorite is a hard question. It doesn’t me most often used. My vote doesn’t have to be secret. it’s Kmyst.

I think there should be more shaders that all new functionality like created geometry. Valis Group comes to mind.

Second would be Woodland but I only get one vote right? Don’t want to start a hanging chad recount. :deal:

#10

I like MForge too even if its intern rendermode makes it more difficult to use with other shaders and textures.

#11

I had all the triple D shaders on Mac and thought that the Storm shader was beautiful. I agree that the M forge stuff is drop dead georgeous.

#14

Sorry, Brian, but we heard that Antiqua is a model plug-in, not a shader

#15

Ooops… I goofed.

Sorry.
