what's causing this mesh error ?

its looks fine in subpatch but when i freeze it, i got this mesh problem.
this mesh is without UV and textures.
i tried merge vertices, align and unify but did not help .
any advises ?

Might be flipped normals?
select all and press F twise if needed

modo now loads obj normal info, if the app this came from wrote junk normal info into the model you need to clean it out.

Open the vmaps list in the lists tab
open the other section
select the normal vmap
use the right mouse button popup to delete it
