Hi, I just put together a quick rough draft of a 5 minute Holiday-theme animation, and I curious how I should proceed:

Should I do a beat sheet? - as in, do I just break it all further down using a beat sheet before Thumbnailing or storyboarding to pace it out generally, before I start storyboarding each shot when I get to the sequences?

-or-

Should I storyboard - If so, how should I start storyboarding before I storyboard each shot, (it will be action-based, but the action doesnt start until the middle of the script)… Should I section off pieces of the script based on the 5 minutes, like 6 panels per minute?
