What the Heck!?@

Dropped in tonight after sending someone a link to my portfolio here on CG Society and got an email back from them that it was nothing but dead images. This was a potential client; I kind of look like a jackass right now. I am here now and seeing that pretty much everyone’s portfolios are down. I do notice that all the CG branding is up though; so that’s good I guess.

I guess it’s a good thing I could send him over to the one at CGHub…

I’m having the same problem right now. I’m trying to upload new work and send my portfolio to potential emplyers but I couldn’t see anything. Currently the images are back but only the old ones, anything I tried uploading right now still won’t show. I’m thinking I should wait until everything is functional before I go ahead and apply or I could take my chances and apply now and hope everything is working by the time they see it. It would make me look bad if I were wrong though.

Unfortunately we’re experiencing some technical issues with our portfolio system. We’re working on it but at present we can’t give an estimate as to when it will be repaired. I can understand your frustration, especially if you have sent your portfolio to prospective employers only to find that it’s down. Try as we might to prevent them sometimes failures occur and when they do we try our absolute best to get them fixed as soon as possible.

Images should be showing now, and adding new images should be back up and working properly as well.
