Its is a backup of your .mud file. So if you rename this to ‘.mud’ it will open as a normal mud file in mudbox.

Hi
It created a .bak file when I save a file in Mudbox. What does it do?
Is it necessary to keep it?
Oh I see. Then I think it is not bad to keep it in case corruption of file happens. How to enable or disable this feature? I just notice that it doesn’t always create a .bak file
thanks
