i want to weld the upper vertex to the lower one. (see image)
how do i do this?

Select the edge between the two vertices, right click > Collapse.

That should do it. :slight_smile:

Alternatively - if you want to move the top vert to the same position as the lower, before making the 2 verts one - use scale (rmb) to a point

Select top vert
Scale Uni -> rmb option
Select lower vert (as destination / target / origin)
Drag 0% (hold shift to constrain)
Select object and cleanup

Will need adv menus enabled

uh… you could also, if you want to veld the top to the bottom vertex, simply select the top on, and press “backspace” to delete it :slight_smile: you then re-connect your edges to the lower vertex,
wings works off a solid object instead of a polygon “surface” so deleting a point cannot create a hole in your mesh
