website from flash to html

i have had my site down for some time now trying to come up with some new designs. i keep leaning to simple designs that dont really need to be done in flash. i am a multimedia illustrator and flash is my tool. do you think it looks bad to have a site in html if you are focused on flash animation? i believe you shouldnt use flash just because you can. here is my old site to see if my style should be done in flash.
