watercolor for landscape painting?????

I have seen lots of people like to use Water color paint for landscape drawing and Still life drawings … i have searching for good water color figure drawing and tutorials …but i couldnt find good ones … to get inspire …and follow …
my question is Why most of the artist using water color for non figurative drawings??
anybody know any links for best figarative watercolor paintings?share with me…

I used lots of watercolor for all the work I did before going digital, and my main subjects have always been people.

hi Lunatique thanks for the reply … I cant believe Steve Hanks watercolor paintings … those are very realisim look … i cant believe how to paint like that in watercolor …
but those are lot in a watercolor look … i mean the washi loook … Steve Hanks painted in very detail paintings.
