Title: Water Hazard - Remont
Name: Kristijan Stuhli
Country: Croatia
Software: 3ds max, After Effects, Photoshop, VRay

The 3rd image to the Half-Life 2 art series.
I used 3dsmax to create the scene, it was rendered in Vray 1,5. Photoshop was used to created and modify textured, Aftereffects was used for final setup and color correction. Trees were done in Xfrog.
The image takes place in “Mandalina”, it’s the Sibenik’s marina.

Very cool man! I did like it better when the render was flipped, but either one looks pretty kick ass to me! Good work!

Overall this one looks good to me. cool scene.

I like the water and its reflections alot.A find the whole pic a bit too bright though…

the lightbulb upper left looks out of proportion and the material looks odd, too.

otherwise: solid job, dude!

awesome picture - like the details and your unique lightsetup. I already knew the first image of the HL2 series and i think you found your own style. I`m looking forward to see the next rendering! Great work.

the image is looking excellent, but I focused my attention on texturing and on the water, these parts are very well done in my point of view. congratulations

#9

i like the whole atmosphere of the pic.,well done with the reflection of water & texturing too is good…NICE PIECE OF WORK.

Water looks great, some of the textures are very nice. I have to agree with rockmentalray about the bulb, it’s definitely out of proportion and the texture is too opaque for a bulb. Also the texture of a few of the things in the water are out of place. Mainly the texture on them needs a bit more dirt and grim, unless you were going for the clean look with those, but other than it looks good.

You got skills. Keep it up.

Great image I love the collection of models. I agree though about the water texture and maybe add some little junk, like can or other trash floating. Reaaly good image. Keep it up.
