want to become character animator

i m working on maya & motionbuilder. i want to become character animator, but i dont know what things i have to do. can u guide me?

Well your not the first one to ask :slight_smile:

check out the animation forum on cgtalk, you mite get more help there.

also check this thread, http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=23600 the first book on the list is all you need to get started, read it !

if you have the time and money you mite want to check out Animation mentor http://www.animationmentor.com/

and other forums like cgchar which is ment for animation talk only, also the 10secondsclub is a great place to start but the site is offline for now
