I have to disagree. I think it’s right in line with the rest of the painting. Notice it’s a very different color of black than the glove with which she’s holding it… The stark red scarf blasting out from the other colors. The translucency of her fingers over her arm.
The more I examine this pic, the more I love it. REALLY great work!

Don’t worry, Mother Mary is most probably just an angry faker who doesn’t want to risk his/her own reputation, I guess she / he just registered a fake nick to post these stuff.
I saw her other post in the character: “asian girl, industrial”, pretty much the same stuff there also. While I am writing these he/she only had 2 posts.

Yes it is beautiful as the previous 16 previous pages will attest to.
My only complaint (and it might have been brought up earlier, i just didn’t read all the posts) is the pose the robot is in could be a little more dynamic. A slight twist of the upper body would look more dynamic and also clarify that he is walking through the building as the smoke coming out of his head suggests.
Other than that it’s excellent rendering and atmosphere.
The volume on the girl’s arms feels real.
