yeah! good job and front page quality! your detail is awesome! hope to see you next time!
what are those 3 wax candles doing in a well-light office?
icant get my head around it
Hi walrus! Again congrats to this masterpiece!
And thnx for giving me feedback!
fantastic work!
Wow! I previously saw this when the challenge outcome was announced and thought this was a great piece. A funny theme and a pleasing composition plus I love all the Lovecraft stuff. But now when I checked all the details itās even better! The printer and the stuff you mentioned not showing :). I just love that. Too bad that the resolution doesnāt do enough justice for this great piece of work. How about a full-size pic?
:bounce:
tilstrom - thanks!
monsit - Congrats on another win for you! I still donāt know how you find time to enter twice every time, and consistantly winning entries on top of that. But Iāll definitely see you around next time.
refuznik, heiesuke, and stƩphane - thank you all!
AZTGlorY - 5? Wow, thanks!!
AKDesigns - The idea was to combine the modern office with the magic of ancient, dark religions. So the cubicle walls and the calender and the printer and clothing are all aspects of the modern and technological. Meanwhile, the boss and the weird runic language spitting out of the printer, and the black candles - sometimes associated with magical or dark rituals - fit the more magical and arcane aspect of the piece. So if you have a corporate job where you have to summon things and perform incantations and such, you might need the traditional candles along with more modern tools such as a computer with a spell-checker. (ha ha.)
Goro - Thanks, buddy! Big congrats to you too. You have a great sense of light and color, Iām glad what little I had to offer was helpful. See you for the next oneā¦!
Tero - Even in the full resolution pic - which is huge, btw, 3207 x 3786 pixels - you can only barely make out the phone-list. I can read it only because I know whatās already there. But at least here I was able to post it larger than I did during the challenge.
APD_Jack, pandamator, turtle, & cypher - thank you for stopping by and posting nice things!
character - glad you were able to catch that in this bigger-resolution image. It was fun making the calender spoofing those motivational images from ultra-corporate offices!
Anā I think that covers everything. Thanks, all, for stopping by!
