Wacom Pen > Lasso Tool > Only working when hitting another function first?

Its total weirdness and I’d appreciate any help

I’m using my wacom pen/tablet and I’m trying to use the lasso tool in Photoshop, except it seems like it needs another action to start it (like pressing the alt key first, or zooming in)
if i make 5 strokes with it - maybe 1 of those will register
Pressing down harder doesn’t help, neither did increasing the pen sensitivity (and various other options for that matter)
Restarting the computer, and Photoshop did not help either, nor did uninstalling and reinstalling the tablet/pen

The tablet/pen is perfectly functional, no damage, very sensitive, the lasso tool just is giving me trouble, and it works fine when I use the mouse - so i’m stumped

Anyways thanks for any help you may be able to provide~

i got no problems with lasso + wacom!
no idea what your problem.

Hey there, thanks for the response, I probably should have updated this post but what happened was I had gone back to old drivers, downloading the new ones off their site worked for me, i think it was a driver/vista problem
