Vue Xstream Render Engine

Hi!
I’ve been working in both vue and 3ds max for more than a couple of years…
Now I have vue 10 xstream and it works perfectly with 3ds max.
My question is, can Vue Xstream work like a render engine in 3ds max or this is just impossible??
If it’s possible can someone tell me how??

I thought Xstream ony rendered its own assets inside of MAX.
