vue 6 xStream problem with may 2008

Hi,
I’ve installed the vue6 xstream for maya 2008 on my maya 2008. Every thing is ok and I’ve loaded the plugin and shelf for vue6 xstream in my maya, but when ever I clicked on any of the icons in my maya shelf , this message appeared:

" Can’t connect to vue6 xstream function pointer 0*00. please ensure vue6 xstream correctly installed.If problem still appeares after reinstalling vue 6 xstream, please contact technical support."

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

The xStream plugin for Maya is horrible. Never works properly, if you can get it to work at all. Works well in Max, but it’s almost as if they never even tested the Maya version.

You’d be better off just using Maya for your exterior and environmental scenes. A bit more work, but far more accuracy and far more stable than Vue.
